God’s divine favour - Stella N
A testimony by Stella N, ANGEL Distributor and Top Producer for the quarter November 2009 to January 2010.

I was introduced to this fascinating business in November 2007 after I had on several occasions resisted the opportunity. One day I thought I’d give it a try, as I was mainly triggered by the love and reverence the company had for the Lord. I knew instantly that this business would be a blessing in my life. As a born-again Christian, I knew the formula to this success was to seek God’s Kingdom and His righteousness first.
“But seek first His kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33
“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:24
I previously worked as a waitress for four years and earned very little. It just wasn’t feasible. After careful consideration, I thought I’d give ANGEL a try. My big breakthrough came when I attended the first presentation which left me motivated and encouraged. I knew I had the qualities and skills to embrace this opportunity. My journey started on a part-time basis and I achieved Micro-Franchiser status in two weeks after I joined.
I built a team and downline through communication skills and equipped them with the philosophy of ‘recruit, sell and never give up’. This has grown our business extensively. In three months my cash flow improved drastically. I resigned from my career in the hospitality industry. This business opened up a life of abundance far exceeding any expectation – I’m even driving the car I’ve always dreamed of.
I’m enjoying this business enterprise and the secret to the success has been self-assurance. I’m confident because I am my own boss. What a blessing! No more shift work. I now lead a blissfully stress-free life.
I knew I could do anything through Christ who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13) and I have always known He will meet all my needs. Today I pay tribute to the Lord. I can afford to do things for myself and my children without wavering in my views. I give glory and praise to the Lord – I wouldn’t have been able to do anything without Him.

Pauline Moalusi
Recruitment doesn’t only involve recruiting distributors. It’s about recruiting people for the Lord. So it is for dignified businesswoman, Pauline Moalusi. “He leads me to the right people,” she says. Pauline joined ANGEL a week after a friend at church prophesied that she is anointed for business. When Pauline first attended the ANGEL/Your Life training session, she was skeptical. “I was praying for a sign from God,” she explains, a strong inner peace that would nudge her into the business. Three days later, the sign from God came. It was in the form of absolute peace. She felt free, cried tears of joy and finally had the peace she had asked for.
A happily married mother of three thriving daughters, Pauline calls herself a prayer warrior. Radiating the Lord’s peace, she is very aware spiritually and constantly intercedes for ministries and businesses. One such business is ANGEL. Pauline explains that ANGEL is “about taking people from the pits of the devil. Once you walk through that meeting room door, you know the Lord. Some people have been saved because of the meetings where we worship.” God always travels with her. She says that fellowship with the Holy Spirit is very important. “You need to trust the Spirit for the little things too, even if it’s just about choosing an outfit,” she says with a smile as she tugs at her pink satin shirt.
Since she joined in November 2007, Pauline says that God has taught her to respect other individuals, not to lose focus, to be humble and help other people. “The Lord has stretched me in so many ways. This business is about patience,” she explains. “Working for the Lord is something else. ANGEL is extending our ministries for him. It’s about hope. People start to realise who they should be. You can see that this is the work of the Lord.”

Benneth & Pertunia Morudu
Even as a serious businessman, Benneth Morudu has a gentle way about him. A father of two, this soft-spoken man has been a distributor for only a year and already mentions that his life has changed drastically. “Mentally, physically, financially and spiritually,” he says. He now walks in victory in Christ Jesus. Benneth and Pertunia have been married for 17 years and encourage each other constantly. “Joining ANGEL together was like taking another vow. It’s exciting, because it has become a family business,” Benneth says. Their children, 16 and 8, are involved too. “They even keep track of our PV,” he jokes. The business sparked off his relationship with the Lord. Before joining ANGEL, he used to drop his family off at church. “But now… I found God at this place, this is where my life began,” he says. Apart from involving his family, Benneth credits his success to connecting with God. He does this by spending time reading the Bible. Benneth tells the story of Moses when he speaks to other people. “People suffer from wrong choices they make. They wear blinders,” he explains. “Once they take the blinders off, people can see the Promised Land… And we are almost there.”

Maureen Ranamane
Elegantly dressed, Maureen Ranamane sits down to chat to us. Inspired by the testimonies at the training session Maureen joined ANGEL. “I believe this is a God-sent opportunity. It just fits. I changed my life through working for God. In three weeks after joining, I became a micro-franchiser.” This mother of four and grandmother of one loves what she does. Since joining ANGEL, Maureen has grown in her faith and recognizes the blessings she receives from the Lord. “The song says ‘Humble yourself and God will lift you up,’” she recalls. It is with humility that Maureen realized that life is about so much more than money. “I am rich,” she explains, “but it’s my children that make me rich. I am the mother of four business-minded children.” Her family loves the company. “It brought light and life into our home,” she says. A former teacher by profession, Maureen has been married now for 23 years. Her husband, still a teacher, supports her in buying and selling products. She appreciates the companionship. “We take orders everywhere we go,” she says with a humble smile. Maureen thinks it’s important to be presentable. “People look at us and see ANGEL.” A walking advertisement for ANGEL and ambassador for God, she reveals that it’s important to leave things in the hands of God. “He does the talking on my behalf. Even when I’m driving, He’s doing the driving.”

Johan Hlatshwayo
Anyone who knows Johan Hlatshwayo would agree that he lights up every room he enters with his suave style. With a sharp fashion sense and keen eye for quality and style, Johan is always dressed to the tee; ready to make an impression on anyone he comes across. “I love clothes,” he says. “I like to dress a little differently. You need to make sure that the clothing fits nicely,” he explains. A former taxi-driver whose shack was repossessed, Johan now owns his own house in Alberton. “When I joined ANGEL, it was all about me and all about the money,” he admits, “but now I’ve grown. I realized what it is really about: helping other people achieve their dreams and goals.” For Johan, the most interesting aspect of this business is meeting new people. “I feel good when we worship at the meetings. I humble myself before God when we worship and I love singing gospel.” Johan got to where he is through perseverance. “The Lord helped me by bringing hope into my life and He encouraged me through difficult times.” He explains that in this business, one reaps what one sows. “When I just started, I put in hard work recruiting and selling. I took the business seriously and put everything into it. Now I’m reaping the rewards.”
